DIRTY WORKS DETOX MUD MASK

If there is something my skin loves it's a good pampering. I have rather delicate skin so the slightest change or lack of pampering can result in a horrible break out. When I feel my skin needing a bit of TLC or just a deeper clean than usual, I always reach for a good face mask. I usually use the 7th Heaven individual packets but when I saw this in Sainsbury's I thought I'd give it a go.  It being in a tube makes it so much easier to use, plus it also means I can use it more than once.

"An intensive and radiance boosting face mask to deeply cleanse and replenish your skin. Combining super fruit extract of blueberry, skin clearing willow bark and detoxifying green clay and kaolin to help draw out impurities, skin will be left feeling refreshed and glowing!"

This mud mask is a great product for when you feel like your skin needs that extra clean. I don't know about you guys but my skin is always up for telling me what it needs by breaking out, flaking and other things that are really annoying and always happen when I've got plans.

It says on the tube to leave it on for 10 minutes but I didn't time it cause I'm a rebel, I just left it on until it went hard and then washed it off with a flannel without using soap because I find that this face mask drys my skin out a bit and I don't want to make it worse by washing it again. So I just use a flannel and the apply a fair amount of moisturizer after. It does leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed but also dry, so if you already have really dry skin I wouldn't recommend it.

You can pick this up in Sainsbury's at a reasonable price that I , as per usual, can't remember because I bought it a while ago.

  1. I've never heard of Dirty Works before! Definitely need to have more of a look into them, but for a product for dry skin! Sounds like a great product regardless!

  2. My skin type is oily so it sounds like it would suit my skin. The blueberry touch sounds amazing too.
