BlogConLDN 2018

One of my goals for this year was to attend more blogging events and although the BlogConLDN event is the first one I've been to this year, it has definitely motivated me and made me want to attend more. The event was packed full of amazing brands and had loads of workshops available for everyone to join in if they wished.

I was excited about this event as I was finally going to meet Yella and Lauren, two amazing bloggers that I'd become good friends with ever since Rosie introduced us a few months ago. What also made this event special was that Issy was coming with little Freddie, making this his first blogging event. Issy is starting him young you see? A baby blogger in the making.

I've been to a couple of Scarlett London's events before, but this one was different as there were workshops and panels organized throughout the day. Giving you something more to do other than meeting brands. I'm not going to lie, we didn't go to anything. We had planned to but once we got there, all met up and had a wander around, we kind of got a bit distracted and missed most of them. Maybe next year?

Now, there were a fair amount of brands there that I didn't get the chance to meet. However, I thought I'd share with you the ones I discovered and now love thanks to BlogConLDN;

SanDisk

The SanDisk IXpand Flash Drive is basically a USB drive for your phone. It can automatically back up your phone when you plug it in, or you can choose what you wish to transfer to it. I have been using it for my IPad, as I edit my videos on there. Having this makes it so much easier to get my videos on my IPad to my computer so I can then upload them to YouTube. Before having this it took me ages to do and was such a nightmare due to the size of the videos. Honestly, I cannot express how helpful this is. If you want to read more about it, you can do here.

Johnny Loves Rosie

This brand caught my eye even before we got to the event. I saw them tweet that they were going so I did a little stalk and fell in love. Especially with their earrings. I love how dainty and unique they are! Plus the quality of them is amazing without having to get a bank loan out. They have a lot more to offer than just earrings though, so you should also go give them a little stalk.

Bilou

I don't think this brand was actually at the event, however, they did put a little something in the goodie bags. A little something that I am now obsessed with purely because of its amazing sweet smell. This "Tasty Donut" shower foam is honestly amazing. Not only does it smell like heaven, but it also comes out in a creamy foam texture that when applied to your skin, makes your skin feel soft and clean.

Vision Direct
(I don't have a photo of them, sorry guys)

Getting contact lenses is something that I've been debating for a while now. Mainly for when I go out and get all dressed up because I spend ages doing my makeup only for my glasses to then hide it and also slide down my nose and ruin my foundation. So after seeing Vision Direct at BlogConLND, I went to their website to have a little nosey. They have so many different types of contact lenses at such great prices, I will definitely be getting my contacts from them! Plus, you can order them online and have them delivered straight to your door, what more could you want?

There were many more brands there, some of which I will be featuring on my Instagram as I try out what they so kindly gifted us in the goodie bags. So if you want to know what else I got and what I thought, head on over to my Instagram and follow me. Which, you should be doing anyway because... because you just should.

Did you go to BlogConLDN? If so, what was the highlight of your day? Let me know in the comments.

  4. Omg I'm so jealous - I live in Birmingham so it was pretty awkward to get to the venue for me....I hope next year they find somewhere more central! Looks like you had such a wonderful time - thank you for taking such beautiful photos, it feels a bit more like I got to attend now haha! Sending you good vibes!
