Makeup Revolution Reloaded

If you're a regular reader around here you'll know that I'm a big fan of Makeup Revolution, especially their palettes. Not only are they budget friendly, but I find them such good quality too and they have a wide range to choose from. So when I saw this Reloaded "Iconic Division" palette in Superdrug, I had to put it in my basket. It basically jumped out at me and gave me no other choice but to buy it, I swear.

Now I initially picked it up thinking it'd be great for Spring due to the yellow and orange, but the more I look at it the more I realise how amazing it'd be for Autumn too. Which is perfectly okay with me because I love Autumn and I can't wait for it to get here. Yes, I know, we're not even in Summer yet! But what can I say? I love how cosey Autumn is and I kind of miss the darker evenings.

Anyway, back to the palette. This palette has some gorgeous matte tones in it, with a few glitter ones mixed in their so you add a bit of glam to your look.

(Don't judge my swatching skills, I'm still learning okay?)

As you can see from my poor attempt at swatching, there's a mix of very earthy colours in this palette which is what gives it more of an Autumnal vibe for me. However, if you have blue/green eyes like me, this palette is perfect. I find that the shades in this palette really compliment my eyes, I love it.

This palette does have a rather chalky texture to it, meaning when you get it on your brush you definitely need to give your brush a little tap before you apply it. Otherwise, it's just a bit of a mess when you apply it due to the excess. It does blend easily though, which is a positive... I'm pretty shit at blending as it is, I don't need a difficult product.

If you want to see what it's like in action, I did film a video trying it out. Full disclosure; I have no idea what I'm doing but it went okay. You can watch that here
